Prayer Ghan

My minister lost his mother 2 weeks before christmas. I prayed every time I made a stitch. I gave this lapgan to him for christmas. There is no words nothing to say or really do to help a person grieve except for listening. I know that is all he dose for our church and give us very good lessons. I really feel for him for I have lost my father this last year on feb.12 2006. Twomarrow is the aniversery day for his death. And I hope that just having this gan will let him know that there are people out there that care and know what he is feeling.

Now I know this picture shows a house that is messy. Yes it drives me crazy. I detest my house for I am under construction and Live in a four bedroom home that only one bedroom is livable. LOL I have 5 people that live in this house. So you can tell that it would get messy fast. I have no where to store anything. Oh well one of these days it will all come together. LOL. God be with me.

corner to corner granny

This Square is made from corner to corner. I crocheted a shell border around it. I really like this pattern wich I make afghans out of. It makes a true square. The sizes has no limit to it. So creat to your hearts contint. This is simple prodject and enjoyed every minute. This block looks not square because of the shell border. The border is optional.

Granny With Flower

Well here is one of my crations. I made a regular granny square witha flower sewin on. I did this for a group that I had been on.

Arnold Mountain. Up in the hills between the California and Oregon Boarder. This mountain was dedicated to the Arnold's in 2001. What a time of Great joy for the Arnold's worked this mountain and mined it since the 1800's and early 1900's. The family was so proud that the Government decided that it would be ok. So in 2002 the Mountain was formally dedicated to the Arnold Name. The Picture on the left (the bigger one) is looking into Oregon and the one on the right is looking in to California.

My sons First Hat

Well he is so proud and you know what so am I. It took him about 6 hours. Not bad for first time. It is orange and has some stitches that are messed up but all in all really nice. It took me about 3 years to get him even to try to do something new. Well he finelly decided that he would take his had at the Knifty Knitter. Well here it is and I think he did a good job. I am a proud mom.
Here are the 9 Afghans I made in 40 days. I was whipping them out. They were donated to a group home for kids that have serious problems and can not be treated any where El's. I did these because one I was determined to give these children something from the heart. I also feel these children don't get enough love in there life that I at least be able to give them some thing from my heart. The kids Loved them. I do though have to admit my mom made 2 of these. I thank her for those.

February KAL

February monthly Dishcloth KAL. The 9 of hearts pattern. Loved this pattern. This was my first prodject with purl. The only thing I would change is puting a border on the sides. I think that would stop the curling. I had a great time can not waite till the mid month KAL

My First Needle Knit prodjects

These two wash cloths are my first Needle Knit Prodjects. I had a lot of fun doing these cloths I believe I was hooked on knitting from then on. These are made with the original Sugar N Cream cotton yarn made by Lily. Simple patern of Casting on 33 and then knit all rows.

Hats Hats and More Hats

Here are some hats I have done. The black and orange hats are two different colors of orange.

This is my Wacky Hubby. He is wearing a hat that I made for him. He has to make a face every time I take his pic. Oh well he is a goofy man any way and I love him alot.
Here are two hats that I made for a couple of children that are in the foster program with DHS

Our Community Police Force

What a joke. I am not trying to be mean. But What a Joke. On New Years Eve we in our community had a fire. There was a man there totally Drunk. Now I understand the celebration thing. So just because he was drunk was not that issue. He was totally out of control. Our Police office did nothing. Our fire marshal had to physically remove him form the scene of the fire. I tell you if people would just let well enough alone. Any way he stayed on his property and yelled across the fence. What is sad is that the Power company even had to come back the next day. He was so rude that no one wanted him around. Our police officer did not do anything until a about a week later. This Man (policeman) is a retired CHP office. What is up with this man. He says that he is only part time. Well ok but do your job when you are called. He didn't even keep people back from the scene. House Fires are un safe. What is this man thinking. An not even take care of a Drunken disorderly man. But that is not even a touch of what this man did not do. The Drunk was back there the next day making a stink and the cop had to talk to him again. What is up.

But I will say for our Fire Crew they did a good job. Our crew is a all Volunteer crew. Most of witch are young Teens. It took them 10 Min to reply to call. Wow for that time of year I give my hand to them. They did a good Job. None of witch are paid. It is a dedication to come out from a party (i.e Celabration) to fight a fire. I give them a big hand and pat on the back. No other house was siriouly damaged. One house had a couple windows that are 1950 ventage brake and the Drunkin mans house had some roof tiles curl from the heat. I think this is great because it could have bin much worse. The houses that are next to the burned one are less then 20 feet away. The flames from the fire were going to the other houses. So to our fire department I Say THANK YOU.
